ROUNDBOUT
Roundabout is a open-bus tour with our app that allows find you the best route to explore the city based on your interests and touch of a button.
INTRODUCTION
> THE BRIEF
The brief required to build a book demonstrating the development of a self-made brand along with 16 mockups or applications using that brand, one of them being a mobile application.
> THE RESPONSE
I chose tourism, specifically sightseeing open-bus tours because there were areas which I saw mobile applications could improve in. For example, most sightseeing buses didn’t consider taking in for account of individuals interest and going the best route for that individual rather just having 2 to 3 consist of routes that individuals would take.
> THE SITEMAP
Within the sitemap, it demonstrates that users would be able to find the best route they could take based on their interests, purchase a ticket online and be given the chance to ask any questions they needed help (with our 24-hour online customer service availability)
WIREFRAMES
These prototypes were built using illustrator with a screen resolution of an iPhone 6 Plus. Once the prototype was built it was tested with 3 different users through ages of 18 - 60 and among other demographics based on the target audience.
USER TESTING
> ALTERATIONS
Zooming in on each wireframe and through user-testing, I have shared the feedback that was given by users to further improve on the application.
SELECT A CITY
Suggestion: Incorporate an iconic building within the logo’s icon.
DESIGNS
The final designs were built using skeleton framework, HTML, CSS and a little of JavaScript. The screen portrayed here is an iPhone 6 Plus.
