PERCY AND THE BANDITS
The locations are augmented with fictions of a tale of a bandit named Percy to create an immersive experience for the users visiting Skyhigh.
INTRODUCTION
> THE BRIEF
The brief required to build a mobile web application based on a themed walking tour. To guide people around 10 themed locations in Melbourne. The application required to have geolocation, photography, text, video and audio.
> THE RESPONSE
I chose Skyhigh in Mount Dandenong because through research I discovered that was an app yet to exist. The history and the unique activities made it much easier to augment reality with fiction. It also helped give users an interactive experience without users constantly being on their phone. The locations were very close to each other thus users would not have to deal with a tremendous amount of walking.
> THE SITEMAP
Within this sitemap to conserve space, I minimised the extensiveness of the pages, for instances within the objective of each location, there be further pages to incorporate the narrative combined with activities. The pages underneath hints act more like a scrolling carousel than individual pages.
WIREFRAMES
These prototypes were built using illustrator with a screen resolution of an iPhone X. Once the prototype was built it was tested with 4 different users through the ages of 18 - 45 and other demographics based on the target audience of individuals who visited Skyhigh in Mount Dandenong.
USER TESTING
> ALTERATIONS
Zooming in on each wireframe and through user-testing, I have shared the feedback that was given by users to further improve on the application.
